the list

I don't consider myself an adventurist but I am someone who likes to keep life interesting and fun.  Between taking that first flying lesson, making my tufted headboard, giving up Diet Coke for Lent or taking boxing lessons, I find challenges and new experiences to be rewarding.  On December 10.2011, I will turn 30 years old and for me, what better way than to push myself to complete these 30 things:

1. Go to the shooting range and fire a gun
2. Open a savings account strictly for Bora Bora
3. Move
4. Take a dessert making class
5. Surf
6. Learn to drive a stick shift
7. Run a 5k
8. Swim with sea turtles
9. Maintain a savings account of three months pay
10. Learn to make sushi
11. Pilot a plane to either the beach or over Crater Lake
12. Learn to make fried chicken

14. Get in the best shape for me
15. Finish reading Tuesdays With Morrie
16. Eat an entire meal with chopsticks
17. Update my resume
18. Try five different ethnic foods
19. Ride in a seaplane
20. Pursue my love of photography
21. Go somewhere new: state or country

So there it is, my 30 things to complete.  I plan to post pictures and commentary on my achievements, so continue to check back on my progress.
